lol I'm cheep and anything over like $3 is too much. Oh well, that's the price you pay for buying good stuff eh? Thanks :)
I would be incredibly surprised if you found a site that shipped anything you wanted for $3 or under. It’s just unheard of. I know it sucks paying tons for shipping but if you cant get it in stores and want it delivered to you, someone got to be paid for it… lol
What's shipping like from transdesign? 8ty8 is a bit steep for me.
I believe transdesign goes on the weight of your order, which can be a little hefty if you do a large haul, and also depends on where you live and the distance it needs to be shipped. 8ty8beauty is $7 ground shipping for 1 lb. and under. (for me anyways - i live in Ohio) I have purchased 5-7 bottles of polish and it was under 1 lb.
is there any secrets or tips or anything with stuff that we can get at home for brittle and weak nails?
Sally Hansen has SEVERAL treatments ranging in price from $3-$15, all are pretty good. They can be found at most drug stores (like CVS, Rite-Aid, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc) Theyr’e the cheapest and best value for your money.
I just saw the OPI suedes question, and small, mom-and-pop beauty stores might still have them. The local shop I always go to had an almost-complete display of them the last time I visited. It seems like they never get rid of anything and sometimes have rare polishes that can't be found online :)
Is the maybelline nail strengthener any good? Because where i live i can't find OPI, china glaze or Sally hansen or anything like that and i found the maybelline one.
I’ve never tried it, and don’t know anyone who has. You could try it if it’s the only thing available to you. But i know Sally Hansen is sold at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, CVS, Rite-Aid, and alot of other common drug stores.
Do you know anywhere that still sells the OPI Suedes? I want the You Don't Know Jacques polish. I don't know if I trust eBay.
OPI has been bullying/suing online retailers of their polishes and forcing them to take down their polishes and discontinue selling them… unfortunately that’s the only way the Suede collection was available, because you can’t buy them in stores. Your only hope may be eBay or Amazon
So... my pinky toe nail broke because I stubbed my toe today :( But I love for my toes to look all pretty. Do you have any recommendations for nail growth? I wanted to give myself a pedi soon.
Sally Hansen has several different nail treatments that are $3-$10 varying in price. Ive tried several and theyre all good, but they take up to 5 days to complete (usually applying the treatment twice daily for the 5 days). Other than that there isnt really anything you can “naturally” do other than wait.
Always take care of your cuticles! Dry, peeling, broken cuticles can lead to sores and infection (ew!). If you don’t want a super daunting routine follow these steps: 1) On clean nails use a cuticle removal gel or liquid, letting soak then using an wooden rosewood stick to take away dry dead cuticles. 2) If necessary, use cuticle scissors or nail clippers to remove stuck-on cuticles. 3) Wash hands and apply a rich moisturizing cream, massaging into cuticles.
Have peeling, weak, broken, or brittle nails? Try using Sally Hansen Hard as Nails ($3.50 at drugstores & Wal-Mart). Apply two coats to clean nails, letting each coat dry completely first. It can be used under nail polish!
Love nail art but not sure where to begin?? Instead of spending money on stripers or nail art pens in different colors… try buying a nail art brush/dotter combo. You can dip them into ANY polish you already have to create designs. The most simple designs for beginners seem to be strawberrys, stripes, polka dots, etc. Start simple and work your way up.
