CURRENT OBSESSION: OPI Black Shatter
The OPI black shatter-effect nail polish, when applied over another color leaves a sort-of- geometric/leopard pattern of crackled black polish. All the range for fall and currently a hot commodity….Ladies this one is a game changer. Once we get our hands on one we will be the first to let you know! Check out OPI’s newest line on their Youtube account, so you can see what the color looks like on the nails and not in the bottle (we all know there is a difference)!

Anonymous asked: you said to ask for the space nails tutorial, so gurllll, how did you do them nails?! they look fabulous!
Tools: any size/shape makeup sponge, black matte nail polish (or black polish), duochrome polish, 2 dark shimmer’s, glitter topcoat. Nail clean-up tools like q-tips and polish remover.
(step-by-step of MY version)
- Paint nails with black matte basecoat
- Sponge a shimmery duochrome in random spots over the nail (I used Hard Candy - Beetle… a dupe for Orly - Space Cadet)
- Next, sponge on a blue shimmer (I used OPI - Yoga-ta Get This Blue!) on random areas, try to leave some black showing.
- Then, sponge on a purple or blue/purple shimmer (I used OPI - Ink!) until you get the desired effect. Try not to make each nail identicle.
- Let dry, the cover with a silver glitter or holographic topcoat. I used China Glaze - Fairy Dust… it gave my nails awesome depth and sparkle!.
- Top with regular clear topcoat if needed.
